KUALA LUMPUR - The website of opposition Parti Keadilan Nasional, led by the wife of former Deputy Premier Anwar Ibrahim, was targeted by hackers recently, who turned it into a porn site.

However, red-faced party leaders are in the dark as to when or how this happened, the Chinese-language Nanyang Siang Pau reported yesterday.

Unsuspecting party members and supporters who visited www.partikeadilan.org recently were shocked when a topless woman appeared on their computer screens, accompanied by several images of women performing lewd sex acts.

The website was also linked to the porn site Amateur Pie.

Party leaders claimed that Keadilan stopped using the above website address two years ago after 'a difference of opinion' with the web designers, the paper said.

They suspect that these designers may be responsible for the hacking incident but have been unable to track them down.

According to a spokesman for Keadilan's Ipoh branch, the party is designing a new website.
